Further work on the Full Moon Sycamore and Cloudy Sky paintings
The following two paintings are still in-progress, a bit of a departure in size and color from most of the recent work. These rely more on drawings and memory, rather than being done, start-to-finish, on site.
The original drawings were on site.

drawing from the past
Trying to clear my creative space, I came across one of my old sketchbooks. Below are a few drawings from December 1997, a trip to Switzerland and Italy, four months before my older daughter was born.

Intreeged
Over three years of looking, finally put the charcoal to the paper.
This old tree has played with many full moons since I first became her neighbor.

Winter Trees
All the complicated details
of the attiring and
the disattiring are completed!
A liquid moon
moves gently among
the long branches.
Thus having prepared their buds
against a sure winter
the wise trees
stand sleeping in the cold.
