Any further brushwork would disrupt the harmonious pink and orange tensions. 

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Painting: Decisions and Revisions

If it weren't for constant challenge and discovery, I probably would have given up painting long ago. It's like nature, always new, never boring.

Working on a painting of the last tree peony, with lilacs. Meanwhile the colors continue to swell and explode outside. Below is a photo from this morning - a lichen covered tree surrounded by buttercups.
