Between the new pup and end of the year activities and demands for the girls, my posting has been sporadic, at best. Also finishing up painting for my exhibit in June...but there are so many new things to paint!

photo break



In the midst of finishing up paintings for the exhibit in June, the very early morning mist today called for a photo excursion. For about 5 minutes, a red winged blackbird strutted up and down a fence, belting out a mating call and showing his plumage.
